Still.
Just stumped about life and a certain someone. It's hard to go to sleep, especially since I threw off my cycle since Spring Break.
But despite that...something just doesn't feel right about sleep, not sure what to say though.

Overall I feel relatively crappy though, coated with a shiny exterior of semi-optimistic and goofy oldself.

Well I fail at life. Worst I've ever done. I've degraded into a sleepless and restless yet super tired bastard of a loser.
I swapped out of AcaDec and Engrish AP for Engrish CP and Stagecraft, respectively.
It's semi-aggravating to see how unmotivated these kids are, and how obnoxious they are! Although there's afew chill peeps in each class, it's still disappointing, especially what happens to these Elective classes. Two of my friends and I are now leading our big project in Stagecraft, and I just got in there.

Anyway, I've been playing MW1. SO much less frustrating than MW2, as if MW1 wasn't frustrating enough in the past, lol. Now that I'm actually a better player it feels much...satisfying. (I was such a n00b back then, I used to complain about how horrible the Mini-Uzi was in CoD4, but it's actually not that bad, good anti-shotgun.)

Argh, didn't have time to find stuff for April Fool's...time to be innovative and memorize a joke books.
btw, one of my favorite Hey Arnold! episodes would be the April Fool's Day. Damn those kids are CRUEL!

Also, Hey Arnold! Great show, and I've grown this weird obsession for good'ol Phoebe Heyerdahl and Helga G. Pataki. :3
Thennnn Gundam Zeta. It's great, not super fly or bad or good, just great, especially for it's time. The designs are badass unlike in Gundam SEED, although I do resent all of the dumb bitches and whores. ]:

Well I fail at life. But anywho.
Redondo Union Team I gets 6th place out of 50 in the county, being able to hit it up at State. Got a trophy for 2nd place overall in Super Quiz, and a bunch of medals from the Speeches and whonot. As for the Junior Team, we served 2nd place of the 12 other Junior teams. :3

Modern Warfare 2 is so screwed up. Generally, it's nice. But if one examines the numerous glitches (more than dozens as much as Modern Warfare 1!), then it gets kinda crummy on paper. It's still fun though, except for the Care Package glitch. I would stick to MW1, but I have that for the PS3 and that's super duper laggy compared to my MW2 on the Xbox 360.

Then...I was hoping to have made a Valentine's Day Card for someone but...due to this heavy school workload it's never been completed. D:<

Also, Hey Arnold! Great show, and I've grown this weird obsession for good'ol Phoebe Heyerdahl. :3

Then, Bioshock 2. I just started it, it's not as epic as the first one (yet), but it's about the same difficulty for me: PC is easier to play with, BUT I do have the more resourceful and efficient veterancy, so it's still fun.

Dilemma.
Here's my planned schedule:

Hot damn, I have A LOT to say about this hell hole. I'm fine with almost everything, which would include some random Speech and reading a 1/4 packet on the French Revolution. But Golly...
So, we're given a ridiculous 150+ set of questions for Charles Dicken's A Tale of Two Cities.
Quite a very unappealing book, and I'm very crummy in both comprehension and reading rate. Blah.

English is probably my 2nd worst subject, followed by math but I can study for math. I just lack the instinct in English, which is going to bring my gpa and transcript to a downfall...aside that I'm given 1 week of plain work left, and I lack the time to find some of the required books for our summer assignments. Blahhhhh.

So much has happened the past month...
It was August 9th when and other comrades had attended the movies. We planned to make entrance into Orphan, but us under-aged novices got caught and were sent to..G-Force. A very, bleh movie to be honest but was intense...firearms and genocidal thoughts, lol.
Then it was less than a week later, August 15th there was this massive LA Excursion between myself, Charlene, and other comrades.  We cruised around Little Tokyo and some park, etc etc, ya'know, Downtown LA pretty much. Barely 8 hours, but anywho.
During lunch, we split into different tables since our squadron was, moderately large. Matt, Jenna, Charlene, and I ordered California Rolls, Miso Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, and "Calimari Steak". (Respectively)
Eh, the steak didn't take much space in my stomach and I was still hungry, but by the time I finished it the remainders of the ramen (it was fairly large for the ladies to consume) was split to the others of our friends, blah, ah well.
Yada, more hiking, had some Boba...embarassing moment when I impaled the cup to make it splurge everywhere.

To the main point:
I've lost my first kiss to Charlene, and I don't regret it. (Other friends) Matt and Jenna have also fallen for eachother, a double-date is possible at this rate. I'd call this, the Summer of Love. The short duration would be the only flaw in it.

Oh, the Eureka Seven movie was decent. Slightly confusing but it was nice. :3
I recommend it.

And. I'm off to Orlando, Florida as of 3 am August 18th for approximately a week. Lol

So, I read up on forums ages ago, and I figured the PS3 wouldn't be hit by these "regional restrictions". But, I never kept that intel on mind until I incidentally ran into (and mind you, it's been a little more than year since I've read up) a fresh copy of Front Mission 5 ~The Scars of War~. A Japanese copy was what I found, and I eagerly used my funds to purchase the game. Little did I know...there were no restrictions for PS3 Games. But, the PS3 would still obey the regional restrictions from older consoles, typically the PS2 console games. And, Front Mission 5 being a DVD for the PS2, and Japanese, I am greatly disappointed. Damn regional restrictions..guess I'll keep it for collection... (FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKin'ay.)

Ahhh, so much WIP I have.

I also find it hilarious how much Judith Liem goes through to block/ignore me in all possible ways. Obviously rejecting friend invites over Myspace, and I didn't even know she was blocking me over Facebook until I asked someone. I don't even see her name, it's labeled as a non-hotlink "Facebook User". Although I see tags and stuff of her all the time.
Aside that, she's blocked me over AIM, and even DA!
I can't even critique anything anymore, it's ridiculous. I liked her work, but whatever, guess anything I say to her is spam huh? LMAONADE, LOLLERSKATES, R0F1C0P73R5!

-Game Review-
Lunar Knights - Konami

Graphics - 8
Really damn good for a DS game, especially as a bird's eye view. Most animations run smoothly, camera view can be utilized to scout around your character. There's really nothing much to say except it's good. Most of the designs are also intrigue-ing.

Cinematics are an okay-quality, as it's in an anime-form also. The Schrodinger combat sequences also have great graphics. Again, nothing much but compliments to say.

Sound - 9
Creature and enemy voices are well-done, same as the those of the main characters. There's not actual dialogue but just small sighs and those sorts of effects. Aside the voices, the weapon and environmental sound effects are also well-done. The soundtrack is also great and usually fits the area.

Gameplay - 9
The combat system is well-done, as the movement and whatnot. Items can be bought and synthesized through use of the weather and climate system. Certain weather conditions can be exploited to gain bonuses such as extra items and different enemey-elements. There are a variety of weapons (with different uses and styles) for each of the two characters. Weapons can be upgraded by junk picked-up during gameplay, as shields can be upgraded during different tasks. Aside the weapons, certain equipment require tasks to be fulfilled for their potential to be released.

The game can be played several times though, different items and equipment are found during different modes, increasing replay value. A Vambery Tower is also unlocked after the first-play through, similar to the Chrysler Building in Parasite Eve, the higher level you escalate, the more secret items and equipment you can unlock(and it's also an epilogue).

Overall, Lunar Knights has both an original and flexible gameplay system. No person will play exactly the same.

Value - 9
The storyline of Lunar Knights, has an exceptionally well-done as compared to most vampire-based games. Sometimes the story may be corny, but great for not requiring censorship.
Aside the main storyline, which has a great plot by the way. There are sidequests to perform from people in the cities. Fulfilling sidequests may help increase experience, funds, and item collection.

Replay value is great, with extra bonuses per-playthrough. Although certain combat systems can be unforgiving, as the spacebattle system is abit clumsy. As random pits of death and near-instant death situations from bosses.

But, to completely 100% finish the game, it should probably take more than a few dozen hours of gameplay. Well-worth the money.

I love this game's storyline, not the greatest but sure as heck impressing. Not too predictable but neither is it too straight-forward. Also has some good morals, or atleast attempts at good morals of life. Overall, a grand-success.

Great game, although I'm unsure about it's availability. Although it's not a mature-game as most of Kojima's creations, it's packed with a lot of fun along with epic.

I have alot of un-finished sketches and inks, but can't really find any, comfortable time to work on'em. ><

Although summer itself is alright...acing a summer class won't redeem myself for all of my past failures...like I could ace such an easy class, ha.

Still, just hate how I don't even know my own damn language...got no excuse except for my laziness....

The DS :
Lunar Knights! The R button is fucked...and the D-Pad is all screwy...why?

Doing "Intermediate Algebra" during the summer with the same class as both of my obsession targets.



Those few or so hours of lecture, and enjoying break with my friends for half of half of the summer days reduce alot of boredom.
And class has been chill so far, just minor reviewing.

Company of Heroes - Relic

Graphics - 9
Loading and menu screens have an awesome style of artwork. Icons and the command layout is simply fantastic and simple. Cinematic and gameplay graphics are both incredibly amazing.

The before-mission cinematic graphics are lovely, fairly realistic. The in-game physics destruction, and all of those other great effects are simply well-done. It's also easy to navigate, being able to rotate and zomm the camera. Just nothing all that bad with the game.

Sound - 8
Voices, sound-effects, astounding. With every gunfight, it feels as if it's coming alive through my own headphones. Soldiers under distress shout out their situation, such as "Pinned down" or "Sniper!" They also have remarks at crappy commands you may give such as "I'd rather see the inside of an angel...". But would be better if the Germans actually had, German voice-acting.

Gameplay - 9
Fairly complex, various upgrades, unit types, and command companies/doctrines. Understanding how well a type of unit may combat or react in a certain suituation takes thorough experimentation. Even knowing how to use some of the upgrades and abilities also takes some understanding. Along with the use and significance of each perk from your company/doctrine also takes abit of learning. But once it's all down, commanding the squads gets more exhilerating.

Different maps open up different strategies as the terrain affects the performance of any unit. And also whether you have a good company/doctrine to counter the enemies' is also important. There's not enough game modes, but I still think it's very awesome.

Value - 8
Although through the campaign may be abit of challenges. The seperate AI and team settings for the Skirmish allow for training for your own entertainment. There's also online if the bots and campaign get boring. Could play for day periods if I had that much time.

Reviewer's Tilt (Tilt) - 8
Well, it's history(quite literally). Good'ol intense World War II. I wasn't expecting any better, since it had already exceeded my initial thoughts. Although an incredible game, there are dozen or so games that I may prefer.

Overall: 42
Main Score: 8+.

Great game, decent price. Even comes with an expansion! For fairly tough, quick-paced strategy, Company of Heroes (or rather Doctrine of Heroes'eh? ><) provides swift and stretched-out entertainment.

Romance:
Overdosed...although my reliance on those obsessions have decreased drastically...still idk.

Life:
Got my application for Algebra 3-4 over the summer in, just gonna wait for registration now.

Should be studying...not enough time yet anyway...

Feeling restless yet exhausted. Attached yet integrated with my obsessions. One obsession morphed into hate, the other surviving off of love. Selfish is what it is, unable to pave another way out of this pain.

To kill a mockingbird, whether it's right or wrong no longer matters with this self. Unknown of what I really am anymore, I wander and wander. This ice cage is what I seem for comfort, each morning freezing in isolation. Traversing as a lone wolf, I seek isolation but yet some form of...comfort.

None seem real anymore, I chase after my obsessions, restless for them but exhausted to try to move. I stop and stare, they're there and I'm here, how weak I am. Tired with no further progress, still stuck. I'm blind in the sights of reality, and wish I could just stop.

Yet, this situation is all of my fault. My impulse lead me to this forming and culturing of this hatred. My foolishness lead me to how weak and inferior I am. To hate for what I don't have, is to kill the mockingbird.

BUT, our memory card is crummy (yes, we have a 16mb piece of shit mem. card AND the memory card adapter for PS2 and PS1 memory cards). So we can't play our old games. Good'ol Ace Combat 5 to restart and CoD4 to finish.

I want to know...why she's so damn perfect, and why I'm so damn weak. How weak I can be, and how "strong" she can be. Why am I here? Just to be an example of a "weak-link" or a weakling(ha, zerglings are kinda weak...bastards). Idk what the hell to do with myself...how much I've failed, how miserable I am...and others are off well-gifted and able to use their potential...I can't even stay awake to "try" anymore. It's getting tiring...try harder and fail harder or try none and fail more...it's a lose-lose situation for me. I can't fix anything anymore, just there...mocking me.
Just nooone understands...all of my failure...none understand.

Front Mission 4 - SquareEnix

Graphics - 6
Gameplay graphics for this game are miserably awful, especially as a Playstation 2 game. They're oddly pixeled and block-ish like PS1 graphics, combat cinematic camera angles are also a pain half of the time. Although navigating the field is somewhat easy with the zoom in and out, along with the rotating the camera.

Although the opening cinematics are absolutely amazing. They still compete with alot of the new gen. cinematics at the moment. But those are only a few minutes worth. If this game had more of them wonderful movies, I'd give it a better rating.

Sound - 9
The movement of the wanzers isn't much of a bother but the gunfire isn't all the best. I actually really like the European-style voice acting they used for the characters. The soundtrack, superb. Ever so epic, it always fits the feel of the situation and is fairly catchy.

Gameplay - 7
Somewhat of a boring game, it's also complicated when first starting. The customization of the wanzers is alright, for more than half of the time there's only a couple worthy sets to buy. Although the Simulation battles give quite a challenge and are also time consuming, abit more fun than the standard missions. The commanding of the units has an alright system, but the System Links and terrain give a great boost to the game.

Nonetheless, after a first run the game loses its magical charm after unlocking all of the secret equipment.

There is also a lack of an extra scenario to run though(although you alternate between the forests of Venezuela and the suburbs of European countries and abit of "Zaftran/Russian")

Value - 7
A decent game with decent value. This game is neither frustrating or simply easy, but can be a bore at times. The possible repetition of the same command chain drains most of the fun. There is also a fairly low variety of different parts and abilities to afford.

I love this game's storyline, ever so impressive. Somewhat predictable, but still with many surprises within the events. Also has some good morals, or atleast attempts at good morals of life. Not many strategy games also have this much customization per unit.

Decent game. Fairly cheap price now-a-days anyway, if you're out of your current options and are waiting for another great game or unable to afford another great game, this should be something to aim for.

The PS3 :
Is being a rebel or just under pain. The Blu-ray and even the DVD drive does not read all of the time anymore. We've sent it out for maintenance, but it's still gonna take another week or so before the return. But I got the memory card adapter for it, so MGS2 and Ace Combat 5...just wait!

For the meanwhile...when I have the chances I shall try to follow under OutcastOne's wings, in the art of automobiles.
And then..and then: I'm also going to attempt at a side-view of the F8e Crusader (fighter jet), and try to transform it into an automobile.
I love Wanzers, but I feel the need to slow down abit and try some realistic machines before I get back to my wanzers. So I'm starting with Automobiles...then back to my wanzers.
